Everyone says a lot about roasting coffee ... we just do it!
After almost 30 years of pioneering specialty coffee in Sri Lanka we still love to roast the old-fashioned way! And that means slowly, carefully with attention to quality and taste being our highest goal.
We pride ourselves on roasting specialty, fair trade Sri Lankan grown coffee. We work with local coffee farmers and suppliers to source the freshest, highest quality beans grown in home gardens and forests across Sri Lanka.

What makes Hansa Coffee taste so unique ? We roast our coffee in the hills of Sri Lanka at an altitude over 1600 meters to ensure a sweeter taste and a fuller more pronounced flavor.

More than just coffee
Although we offer a wide variety of specialty coffee blends, we also provide organic farming workshops and training for coffee farmers to learn the value of growing shade-grown coffee on our hillsides. We are mindful that new varieties of coffee keep entering the coffee landscape and many are rushing to be part of this trend. We are willing to share our experience of over 25 years with everyone who wishes to be part of Sri Lanka's coffee story.
We remain strong in our belief that Sri Lanka needs more forest grown coffee and small scale farmers who can protect our biodiversity while growing coffee on their lands.
